Mo’ara Margarita at Pongu Pongu in Disney’s Pandora
Wieners aren’t exactly on the menu at the Pongu Pongu Lounge at Disney’s Pandora but the Mo’Ara Margarita is, and it’s fabulous! An icy sweet blend of Strawberry and Blood Orange syrups blended with Sauza Anejo Tequila and topped with Strawberry Boba Balls. I assumed that the Boba Balls were like the nasty tapioca ones found in Thai Boba teas. Upon tasting the ones in the Mo’Ara Margarita I was surprised that they were similar in texture to a skinless grape or a pomegranate seed’s outer coating. So don’t let the word “Boba” scare you away.
The price was fairly reasonable around $9.00 for this potent beauty. There is a pricier version that comes with a glowing Unadelta Seed (basically a fancy glowing plastic cube) for about $3 more. If you really want to ball out the super upgraded version costs twice as much but comes with the Unadelta Seed and is served in a souvenir mug. I will gladly pay almost anything to cool down from Florida summer heat. Cheers!
Mo'ara Margarita at Pongu Pongu
Although I got the basic version of the Mo’ara Margarita served in a transparent plastic cup with a paper straw it is still a work of art. The varying red hues of the blended ice and flavored syrups along with the Strawberry Boba topping were quite the attention grabber. As I walked through Pandora sipping on my Margarita I can’t even count how many times I was stopped and questioned about my drink. The Mo’ara Margarita has a nice mellow flavor, not too sweet and the tequila is well masked. It’s also a great value at around $9.00.
